Best Practices for Acute Rehabilitation Post Total Hip Arthroplasty

This course provides physical therapy professionals with an update on total hip arthroplasty (THA) rehabilitation. You will learn how to manage patients in the acute stage of recovery, including best practices for monitoring, treatment, and progression from post-op day 0. Considerations based on the surgical approach and the presence of comorbidities, such as COPD, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, dementia, and frailty, are discussed.
